This will be the final get together of the year so it would be great to see everyone together for one last time.

We are going to spend Friday night camping out in the valley below the Falls of Glomach. Its about an hour walk in from Camas-Luinie and then head up to see the falls on Saturday before leaving and returning to Kyleakin by 5pm. There will be nothing to strenuous but plenty time to sit round a campfire and enjoy the heat with some marshmallows and hot chocolate!

We are now able to have shared transport for youth activities so I have booked the Kyleakin minibus to take us out. There are however, still some limitations on spaces so these will be given to those that want them first. Everyone on the bus will be required to hand sanitise before entering and wear face masks while on the bus.

Full details of the event will be emailed after booking but keep in mind that this is a fully outdoor event which means the young people will be outdoors for the entirety of the time. They need to be suitably clothed and prepared for this. We will provide camping equipment if needed but if you have your own then it would be really helpful to use this as we have a limited supply. All young people will need to stay in a tent each, or all members of one family in one tent, and bring your own sleeping bag due to the Covid-19 restrictions in Level 1.

Each young person should have eaten before leaving on Friday evening but we will provide breakfast on Saturday morning (choice of cereal, toast, or something cooked). They will need to bring something for lunch on Saturday and any snacks that they would like.

Lastly, you are very aware of the restrictions we are currently under, and therefore, following a successful booking, you will have to confirm that you have read and understand our Covid-19 statement and that you will comply with it. The current regulations require the young people to observe social distancing, and leaders will be required to distance from each other and from the young people as much as is practicably possible.
