Walk for wellbeing
Walk for Wellbeing is part of the work of COOL and gives children and young people, aged between 10 and 17, the opportunity to go for a walk and chat confidentially to our youth worker or accredited volunteers. These two elements are recognised by all Health Care Sectors as being incredibly beneficial to the health and wellbeing of a young person, and especially their mental health.
When life is tough and things don’t seem to make much sense, it’s good to know that you are not alone. We are here to listen and what better way than getting out for some fresh air in the outdoors to do so.
To book, simply choose a volunteer who you think would be most suitable for the walk, and select a slot that suits you. If none of these suit, please contact Timmy to arrange a time.
