easter youth activity day

Free Church of Scotland

The Easter Youth Activity Day is open to anyone in S1 – S6 and will be a fun filled day which will include shelter building, making a camp fire and cooking marshmallows and bread, crazy wheelbarrow games, and more with a short talk thinking about what happened after Jesus resurrection and the significance for us in the year 2021.  There will also be plenty time for catching up with friends and just enjoying being in the company of other like minded young people.

The day is being organised by the amazing Youth Weekend team as a Free Chruch of Scotland event and will take place on the 24th April.  It will begin with being dropped off at 10am and being collected again at 4pm.  Due to safeguarding, full details of the venue will be included with the booking confirmation but it is in the Balmacara area.

Full details of the event will be emailed after booking but keep in mind that this is a fully outdoor event which means the young people will be outdoors for the entirety of the time.  They need to be suitably clothed and prepared for this.  There will be a sheltered area under a tarpaulin if it gets wet and an outdoor toilet for use.

Each young person should bring their own packed lunch with them and will also get an individually wrapped parcel for cooking on the fire.  There will be no sharing of food or leaders handling young persons food due to the Covid-19 regulations.

Lastly, you are very aware of the restrictions we are currently under, and therefore, following a successful booking, you will have to sign to confirm that you have read and understand our Covid-19 statement and that you will comply with it.  The current regulations require the young people to observe social distancing, and leaders will be required to distance from each other and from the young people as much as is practicably possible.

UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE NO MORE SPACES LEFT
