Thank you for registering your child to come along to our Awakening Youth Conference Weekend 2024.  We are very excited for it and hope they are too!

We will be leaving Kyleakin on Friday 15th March and returning Sunday 17th March.  Please see below for the bus pick-up times and locations.

We have all the information we need from the booking form but please keep us updated if any changes have or should occur to the health/medical information before we leave.

The program for Friday and Saturday will follow the program of the conference.  There will be the opportunity to do an activity on Saturday afternoon which will be indoors or outdoors depending on the weather and what the group are keen to do.  This would only require some footwear that they are happy to wear outdoors and we wouldn’t be doing anything messy where outdoor clothes are required.  On Sunday morning we plan to attend the church service at Trinity Church and then following some lunch make our way back home.

A basic kit list is given below. Bedding and towels are supplied by the centre so there is no need to bring any bedding or pillows from home.  If you want to bring your own towel, you are very welcome to do so.  It probably goes without saying in Scotland but just in case, please pack a waterproof jacket.

If you are sending any medicines with your child please have them be in a sealed bag, like a zip lock food bag, and clearly labelled with their name, DoB and when it is to be taken.  These can either be given to the leaders for safe keeping or kept with their own personal belongings if you are happy for them to do so.

14:00 Kyleakin – Outside the Community Hall
14:10 Kyle – Band stand bus stop
16:00 Inverness – Tesco at Inshes (in a Highland Schools van around the area where the ATM’s are)
18:00 Arrive at Atholl Centre

Please be at your pick up point ready for the bus to leave at the time listed.  We will get food on arrival at the centre before we go to the conference but they may want to have some snacks for the drive.  We will have drop off’s at the same location as pick up’s, and aim to be leaving Pitlochry by 3pm but usually the young people will keep in touch with you for specific collection times.
