South Skye and Lochalsh Holiday Bible Club
We are so excited to be running our Holiday Clubs again this year and can’t wait to welcome all the children along. This years theme is ‘The Restoration Station’ as we explore how we would feel to have some precious possessions that we wanted to be restored, like in the TV show, ‘The Repair Shop’. It reminds us of what Jesus did in restoring people’s lives in the Bible and what He wants to do to restore our lives. Weather depending, most of the club will be outdoors again this year as we recognise the importance of this for our children and how they thrive in this environment.
Who: All primary school age children, including those going into P1 or going into S1 after the summer
What: Games, crafts, challenges, bible stories, songs, nature, adventure and more
When: Monday 29th – Wednesday 31st July, 10:00am – 3:00pm
Where: We will give you full details of the location when you have booked but it will be the usual venue in Kyleakin
Why: A mainly outdoor programme (weather dependant), the club will help your children explore nature, learn new skills, and uncover bible stories in a fun and exciting way
Full details of the event will be emailed after you have booked but please keep in mind that this is a mainly outdoor event which means your child or children will be outdoors for most of the time. They need to be suitably clothed and prepared for this. There will be a sheltered area but will go inside if it gets really wet and toilets are available for use.
Snacks will be provided during the club, prepared and handled in accordance with food hygiene rules, but children can bring their own if they prefer. Provisions will be made for allergies and intolerances noted on the registration forms. During snack time the children will be encouraged not to share food with others, and will be required to wash hands before and after eating.
